We are a part of an amazing universe! Although we like to imagine we are much more, we actually have very little control over what is. Just when we think we have everything within our grasp, Mother Earth shows us what little power we possess by sending messages of cleansing and renewal in the form of tornadoes, tsunamis, earthquakes and the like. We try to ‘own’ this place we call home, but she always reminds us who’s boss.
Today, part of my Reiki Group Healing intention was to send healing energy back to Mother Earth. We’ve taken so much, it’s important that we do take time to give back what we can. As I was sending this loving energy, I asked what I could do to make a difference. What came to mind was to share my philosophy of always leaving a place better than I found it. Whether it’s picking up a piece of trash I walk by, or returning a shopping cart someone left in the lot, or sharing food with someone who has little, or walking to do an errand instead of driving, smiling at someone I pass and wishing them a good day… I try to do something everywhere I go to make it a little nicer.
I hope that, just for today, you will join me in my journey. We may, at times, feel alone, but we are all one. Positive actions, bring positive reactions. Today, try making YOUR world a little nicer wherever you go. I hope you will take time to share how YOU have given love to Mother Earth today. Love & Light….
