Big expensive weddings are not for everyone. Whether you’ve been together for years and finally want to make it legal, or need something quick because you’re moving, or just don’t want the expense and hassle of a big wedding, you don’t have to make it any less special.

Joyous Journey Celebrations makes every ceremony a special loving experience.  Performed in our Gloversville, NY* location, you can choose a Spiritual or Non-Spiritual ceremony. You can even add extras like a bouquet & boutonniere at no extra cost**, and bridal veils and wedding rings are available for purchase.

This price is for services held at Joyous Journey Celebrations in Gloversville, NY.
(If held elsewhere, pricing is $250 )

$100 retainer fee***  is required to reserve your date and time, with the balance being due IN CASH before your ceremony.

What’s included:

  • A short Loving ceremony to begin your new life together
  • We promptly complete and return your Marriage License****
  • Takes place in our home in Gloversville, NY (outside Garden Weddings weather permitting).
  • This is a quick Civil or Religious Ceremony legally performed with Love (approx. 5 minutes)
  • Guests limited to witnesses only
  • A Witness can be provided (add $35)
  • A lovely Ministry Marriage Certificate (suitable for framing)
  • A printed keepsake copy of your marriage ceremony

*Pricing is for ceremonies at our location.  Ceremonies performed elsewhere add $50.
**Bouquet, wrist corsage & boutonniere can be borrowed for the ceremony at no additional cost or can be purchased to keep (see pricing above).
***Locking In Your Ceremony Date

We book on a first-paid, first-reserved basis so your retainer fee should be paid immediately to lock in our services for your ceremony.

Our retainers are non-refundable, so make sure your date and time are correct! We understand that dates and times sometimes change. We will be happy to reschedule if possible as long as we have the new date available.

 

**** By Law in NYS, Officiants are responsible for and required to fully complete and return your Marriage License to the issuing Clerk’s office.  Failure to do so within 5 days will result in penalties to the Officiant.  If you decide to return this document yourself you will be required to sign a form releasing Joyous Journey Celebrations from all responsibility.  More info…
